Yellow Labradorite, from Mexico, is a Ca-Plagioclase stone with a refractive index of 1.560 - 1.568 and is doubly refractive. Yellow Labradorite is a gem quality member of the Labradorite family which has a hardness of 6.5. The hues range from colorless to light yellow on the smaller stones to champagne or straw yellow on the largest.
